Lace has been so popular these days, we have done so many invitations with lace! It’s very classy, chic and romantic. These invitations are for a summer wedding at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe with a little bit of blush pink and green.
We had the pleasure of working with Micah Bragenzer Photography and Ashley Whitlow Photography on a vibrant spring styled shoot at a new venue, The Bradford Ranch. Their colors included teal, navy blue and coral with chevron print. With a modern rustic feel, we designed an invitation with a chevron belly wrap tying a coral heart with twine burlap. We used the same twine for the menu cards which doubled as place cards. I think it looks great with the everything, especially the florals and that vibrant blue cake!
I designed these party goodies for a train themed “Happy Trails” going away and their son’s 4th birthday party! It included paper straws with tags, cupcake toppers, favor tags, a custom banner and not pictured, thank you cards for their guests. It’s a combination of two celebrations so there was different wordings for each item. Because they will be moving back to Ohio, it was only fitting they chose the colors black, red and gray which represents their alma mater. Happy Trails to you, Carson family and best wishes on your move and new home!
It was definitely a true labor of love when we designed our own wedding invitations. Our big day…. our special moment… our wedding is something we hold very close to our heart. We chose to have a very, small and intimate wedding because we both come from very large families and to invite everyone, we would need to reserve an amphitheater. (and I’m not kidding!) So a lot of hearts were broken, but in the end, it was about us and I’m happy with what we decided. The day was also special to us because not only did we get married, we baptized our daughter! We “branded” our day as celebrating LOVE because we wanted to include our daughter in the celebration as a day of love for our family! We chose a booklet style invitation because we had a lot of information we needed to include for our guests and we wanted them aware of everything going on. We started the day with a traditional wedding ceremony and then we baptized our daughter. From there, we had a lunch reception (that was Ahh-MAZEing) and when we were done, our bridal party gathered to take pictures. Once we finished there, we had a cocktail reception at a private residence and here, we were able to invite more guests who we were unable to invite in the morning events. It was a long, beautiful day and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
